WE NEED COTTON SHEETS!  Please bring unwanted, used, cotton sheets which will be torn into measured strips, rolled up with roller machines, shipped to Nazarene Hospital in Papua New Guinea and used in many ways for patients and their needs. We always have a lot of fun at these “parties,” so come and join in.

Bring sheets to church anytime and place them on the missions display on east side of Foyer. Thanks so much for your help!

JUNE IS DESIGNATED AS “WORLD MISSIONS BROADCAST” MONTH. There are many radio and TV broadcasts and other technologies throughout the world declaring the goodness and promises of Jesus the Messiah. Because of your giving through the 3C program in our church – Compassion, Community, Campus – we were able to contribute $250 toward this world broadcast effort.

CLEAN WATER FLOWING DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO (DRC)

Remember Easter 2018 when our church raised $10,000 to provide a water well for a community in DRC? This is the latest report from District Supt. Celestin Chishibanji:

“Clean water is transforming a small community near the large city of Lubumbashi, DRC. More funds were received and it’s been possible to add a third, even larger, reservoir increasing the capacity from two 1,000 liter tanks to a total of 7,000 liters. The extra 5,000 liter reservoir enables the well pump to fill up all reservoirs overnight to service the constant stream of women, children, and men who come to get water during the day. This well serves approximately 2,000 to 3,000 people every day!”

Pastor Celestin says that because of the well he is now able to have a small garden.  Before the well, there was not enough water to spare for gardening.  He thanks the Oroville Church of the Nazarene for raising the initial money for the well, and because of the faithfulness of many others, money was provided for the installation of the new “super” container and a stronger pump in DRC.

Jesus:  “I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink.”

Matthew 25:35
