Easter Offering Water Well Update

Water pump drilling at Bridge Nazarene Church in Lubumbashi in the Democratic Republic of the Congo from funds raised in our 2018 Easter Offering.

Our church raised over $10,000 in Easter offering for this project!

Thank you OroNaz!

Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow!  God has blessed us with the ability to help others…others are so blessed to receive this wonderful gift!

Instead of walking hours every day to get water, they now have it available in their own community!

We received some correspondence and photos via Joe Gorman, a professor at NNU of what has happened since we received and sent the offering earlier this year:

The well is almost entirely complete. Thank God! Here are some pictures that Celestin has sent. There are a few videos that I will send as well. Here are several messages that I have copied and pasted from Celestin:

Really this is incredible. God is good. I am humbled by this project that has already made an impact at its beginning. The family and the community we are saying loudly : Thank you, thank you, thank you. Blessed be the name of the Lord our God who has visited His people in our section.

God’s peace and blessings upon you.

Water pump drilling at our local Bridge Church in Lubumbashi. This is to equip the community with clean water. My community and myself, we have been waiting for this for long time according human thought but today is the day that the Lord has made and we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Glory be to God. Hoping to see the community benefiting from this and see God’s love in Jesus Christ.

All the best

Yes. Here is the WELL. Thank you very and very much for this wonderful gift. It will be finished on Saturday. We have waited for this for long time. Today is the day. You have been an angel to us and our community. Tell all the partners of Compassion for Africa that we appreciate this communal gift. This is a wonderful sign of God’s love to His people in Kinkaville. God’s grace, peace and blessings upon you.

The guy’s are saying that will finish the work either today or Friday. Those are days when we have electricity. That is why it has taken long to finish the installation and fixing the accessories. Then I will give you the figures for the whole work. Thank you very much for everything. We will then send a small short video of appreciation. People have been catching the water while it is not very clean yet. This because water is very needed in Lubumbashi. Really what you have done has already a strong impact in the community. May God continue to bless you very and very much.

Shalom
