<itunes:summary>It really shouldn’t be too difficult for Christians to imagine a world where heaven and earth are one because we have the perfect parallel in Jesus Christ. God and man are forever united in Christ so heaven and earth will be forever united in the new cosmos. Just as Jesus tore down the veil that separated God and man so also the wall that separates heaven and earth will be demolished as well. God’s plan is to abolish the gulf that exists between the spiritual and the physical worlds…no more divided loyalties…one cosmos united under One Lord…forever! This is the unstoppable plan of God and the Fundamental Structure of our hope…</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Throughout both the Old and New Testaments we see the coming together of the earth and heaven at the culmination of all things. The New Earth is our final destination where we will live eternally in the presence of God. That event is preceded by two events: the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus and the Final Judgment. In the meantime what happens to those who “die in the Lord”? Where do they go? What becomes of them? This morning we will take a look at what the scriptures have to say on that subject… </itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>The subject of heaven brings out all kinds of opinions and thoughts. What does the Bible have to say about the subject? What can we know for sure?
Much of the distress of many people over the way their lives have turned out comes from a failure to realize that their life actually lies before them. The fact that they are coming to the end of their present life pales in comparison to what lies ahead. Therefore what matters is not so much a matter of what we’ve done… but of who we have become. We are creating our capacity to live a wildly unimaginable life in eternity by who we are becoming today. This is the fundamental structure of our hope… the hope we have in Christ and the Father’s plan to finish what He started in the garden.</itunes:summary>
