The Nursery

Nursery Volunteers

The Nursery is a place for all our Wigglers (6wks—1yr), Waddlers (1yr—2.5yrs) and Wanderers (2.5yrs—4yrs). We provide nursery care for both Sunday morning worship services at 9:00am and 10:45am, as well as for many other special events and ministries during the week.

What to bring:

1. One or two disposable diapers.
2. A pacifier or other item should your child need it for security.
3. A complete change of clothes.
4. A bottle of milk, formula, juice or water.

This is good practice even for mothers who nurse. Please label all personal items with your child’s first and last name before arriving to your child’s class.

What to expect

At the time of check-in you will be given an adhesive name tag for your child and a barcode that will be used to check your child out. Your child will not be released without presentation of this barcode. If this is your first time, please provide us with a cell phone number that you have in your possession, and please remember to turn it to vibrate so we can text you if necessary. If you cannot provide us with a cell phone number, we will use the last three digits of your barcode to page you. There are two light boards placed at the front of the sanctuary on both sides. A loving and trained leader will greet you at the entrance where your child is checked in.

It is normal for little ones to have a difficult time when leaving a parent. This does not last long and separation becomes easier over time. Our caring leaders will immediately try to soothe your child while assuring them that you will return soon. If your child cries for an extended period of 10 minutes, we will page or text you. Our curriculum is an interactive nursery curriculum, perfect for toddlers. Watch them grasp the truth of God’s word through music and props.

Note: We operate a well-child program. For the protection of all the children in our ministry, we cannot accept a child with a runny nose, fresh cold (four days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness. We request that you do not place your child in our care while they are at risk of exposing other children. Thank you in advance for helping us to keep the nursery a healthy place.
