The Path

The Path sends preschool and kindergarten age kids on their first steps to a friendship with Jesus! It’s for both boys and girls from age 3 and a half to 5 and is located in room 111/112 (at the back of the church).

What to Expect

At the time of check-in you will be given an adhesive name tag for your child and a barcode that will be used to check your child out. Your child will not be released without presentation of this barcode. If this is your first time, please provide us with a cell phone number that you have in your possession, and please remember to turn it to vibrate so we can text you if necessary. If you cannot provide us with a cell phone number, we will use the last three digits of your barcode to page you. There are two light boards placed at the front of the sanctuary on both sides. A loving and trained leader will greet you at the entrance where your child is checked in.

At this stage in your child’s development, it is normal for little ones to have a difficult time when leaving a parent. This does not last long and separation becomes easier over time. Our caring leaders will immediately try to soothe your child while assuring them that you will return soon. If your child cries for an extended period of 10 minutes, we will page or text you.

Our curriculum is organized in the following structure: play centers, Bible stories and verse, sing-a-long, and snack. Your child will travel to the playground (weather-permitting) on a rotational basis. Please send your child with a sweater or jacket for cooler days.

Note: We operate a well-child program. For the protection of all the children in our ministry, we cannot accept a child with a runny nose, fresh cold (four days or less), fever, rash, persistent cough, diarrhea or any other signs of illness. We request that you do not place your child in our care while they are at risk of exposing other children. Thank you in advance for helping us to keep the nursery a healthy place.
