A Really Busy Place For A Quiet Wednesday Morning

If you drove past OroNaz this past Wednesday morning, you would have been wondering what was going on? The parking lot was full; School Buses were coming and going all morning. Kids and their parents were everywhere. It was a busy place for the middle of the week, which is normally pretty quiet.

The OroNaz facility hosted two nearby schools that we adopted. This was the sixth year of the Naz hosted Helen Wilcox and Golden Hills Christmas Presentations. As we opened our doors and welcomed our neighbors in, the place was full and buzzing with anticipation. The First Graders came at 9am, Second Graders at 10am, Third Graders at 11am, and the Fourth Graders from Golden Hills came at noon. Some parents came for the entire program, others came and left as their child did their program. It was exciting and fun.

It was great to hear the children sing “Silent Night” and lift the name of Jesus. It was amazing when they sang “Jesus, Lord at thy birth…” We are so happy to partner with these two schools to help them continue to help families discover the true meaning of Christmas.

The Golden Hills fourth graders did a short musical presentation about a Christmas Tree Lot. In this presentation, the trees were getting ready to be picked as Santa’s tree, but when Santa and Mrs. Claus came to check them out they they only chose one tree who understood the true meaning of Christmas.
