WHAT ARE LIFEGROUPS?
They are a foundational core value at OroNaz. The concept is built upon the biblical notion of koinonia – sharing things in common, which characterized the early Christians. LifeGroups are comprised of 15-20 people who meet weekly in homes all over Oroville. LifeGroups are the place where you can make connections with other people, where you can make friends and feel like this is your home and your spiritual family.
Our vision is that everyone who attends calls OroNaz their home church will be in a LifeGroup during the week!
WHAT DO LIFEGROUPS DO?
Almost all the groups are based around the sermon that is preached on Sunday. The idea is to share, pray, discuss and apply the sermon, serve together, care for one another, and build relationships. Each group meets for about 12 weeks and then takes a break. If you like the group, you can sign up again. But if you’d rather try a different group, you’re free to do that as well.
HOW CAN I SIGN UP?
Sign ups take place three times a year, usually in January, May and September. Listen for announcements from the stage on Sunday mornings. Sign up in the foyer on Sunday mornings.
