Who We Are
Men's Ministry Director
My walk with God started when I felt His calling at the age of 14. Since that day I have found one of the greatest experiences in life is sharing the gospel message to those who have ears to hear. I also believe Godly men are foundational for a healthy church. Because of that I have been part of mens ministry for over 20 years, looking for ways to encourage men to follow Christ and not give up meeting together in the process.
Men's Relational Leader
Terry found Christ at the age of 52 in the midst of anger, and a marriage in crisis. However it would be another two years before he actually met Christ. When this occurred he knew that every man needed the freedom that he had experienced that morning and knew that Men’s Ministry was where God had placed him. After 14 years he’s just now understanding the power of Christ’s love to overwhelm and overpower the sin in a man’s life and set him free.
Men's Activities Leader
At age 14 some friends took me to church for the first time and I went forward to receive Jesus right then. Through many years of going in and out of church, I finally found roots at Oro Naz. I felt led to serve God by serving in the Men’s Ministry.
I’m I am convinced that God has brought together this group to lead a ministry for the men in our church. I am blessed and challenged to be part of what God is doing. I believe we can raise the level of Godly character of men by sharing the truth of
God’s purpose for each man he created.
Men's Resource Leader
After many years of rebellion, I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior at the age of about 35. Led there by my 4 year old daughter who asked me to go to church with her as I was getting ready to leave for my regular Sunday golf game. I struggled with my new Christianity for several more years until coming to Oroville Nazarene. There I met some genuine people who really cared about me and my salvation. Since then I have developed a passion for men’s ministry, trying to help men by telling them what Christ has done for me. Also, by telling my story/testimony so they can avoid making the same mistakes that I made.
